He has served for more than thirty-five years in the United States Navy, the United States Coast Guard, and the Department of Defense, and was an exchange engineer in the French Navy. He speaks Spanish perfectly.

Michael Anton (born 1969) is an American conservative essayist, speechwriter, and former private equity executive who was a senior national security official in the Trump administration.
